Over 20 years ago, as a freshman in high school, I fell in love with the power to tell stories with video.  Since then I’ve worked lots of different jobs mostly in the world of television.  Recently I’ve had the opportunity to do more creative films, and that’s what I’d love to do, but I truly enjoy editing anything.

In the last 2 years I’ve cut and shot features, reality television, car commercials, music videos, behind the scenes, industrials, and pilots.  I’ve been an assistant editor on a couple features, assistant camera on a number of projects, shot and edited all kinds of stuff for the internet, and cell phones.

Previously I’ve worked as a creative producer/editor for a UPN/WB affiliate, freelance commercial editor/camera, I cut news for a NBC affiliate, I was a Public Access station production manager/producer/teacher, and also a PBS affiliate camera/grip/audio. 

I have a degree in Journalism from the University of New Mexico.  I’ve been cutting with Final Cut Pro since 2001.   Photoshop, and then After Effects followed about a year later.  I’ve also worked with other NLE’s such as Avid Media Composer, Premier Pro, Media 100.  All the supporting applications in the FCP suite are at my disposal as well.

I can motion track mattes, color time, handle any sort of media ingest/export.  If it’s related to editing I’ve got a handle on it.  Love to hear from you!
